These pieces play with the notion that painting is a two-dimensional thing. The forms are drawn, painted, cut out and stuffed for maximum play with dimensionality. The paint is very thick and often applied with a pastry bag and palette knife. Colors are enhanced with mica dust for shimmer and thinned with acrylic medium for thickness and transparency.
